Removing the battery tab
Activate the battery by removing the protective tab located on the bottom of the device.
NOTE: If the tag is hard to remove, gently open the battery cover and take out the battery to access the protective tag. Remove the tag from the battery contacts, then reinsert the battery, aligning the gold contacts on the battery with the gold contacts on the router. Replace the cover, ensuring it clicks into place and is flat across the entire bottom surface.
