Creating a webhook

To create a webhook:

1. Click the Create button at the top of the table. The Create a Webhook dialog displays.

2. Enter a name for the webhook.

3. Enter the webhook URL. This is the URL used by a 3rd party system to receive alarms or data updates from Inseego Connect.

4. Select a type of webhook secret from the dropdown (Basic Authentication or API Key) to be used by the 3rd party system.

5. Enter a user name for authentication on the 3rd party system.

6. Enter a password for authentication on the 3rd party system.

7. Click Add Header to provide header key/value pairs for the webhook.

8. Use the Active checkbox to make the webhook inactive/active.

9. Use the Test Webhook and Preview Payload buttons to test the webhook and preview the webhook payload.

10. Click Save.

Use Alarms > Rules to add a webhook to create an Alarm rule for a webhook or add a webhook to an existing rule.
