Identifying a location
Use the Inseego Mobile™ app to identify the optimal location for your FX3100.
1. Scan the QR code to install the Inseego Mobile app from AppStore or Google Play.
2. Follow instructions within the Inseego Mobile app to connect to your FX3100 and perform a location survey to identify the ideal location for your FX3100.
NOTE: Once you have completed the location survey, you are prompted to set up a free Inseego Connect account that allows you to remotely monitor and configure your device from the Inseego Mobile app. After you create an account, you are asked to register your device using the current device password. Enter the current Admin password (the default Admin password is on the bottom label of the FX3100). Then restart the device.
Location suggestions:
- Near a window but not in direct sunlight
- On an above ground level (not in a basement)
- Clear from obstructions and interference from other electronic devices
- Outside of cabinets or locations that can get excessively hot
