Once a device is onboard, the bootstrap template is pushed.

NOTE: You can see what template is applied by clicking on the device in the Devices page.

Bootstrap templates are the set of templates applied to a specific device type at the time of onboarding. They provide most of the configurations for your networks.

Other templates are used in addition to bootstrap templates for specific needs, such as creating a static route template for a WFH tunnel.

You can modify a template for an individual device from the Devices page. You can also modify templates from Templates > Bootstrap Templates, or from Templates.
